Treasurer's Report:
We have a balance of $192.25

H&I- There is a report from Gilbert attached to the mailed minutes.
There was discussion on making a calendar for meeting attendance. It was decided as long as Gilbert could keep up with the attendance and the Jail was informed by Monday on if there was going to be a meeting, we would leave it the way it is.
It was also decided no H&I training workshop was needed as long as an experienced addict accompany inexperienced addicts.

It was decided to draft a letter to send to the Hastings Groups asking for their return to Area.

AD report;
The Region needs a female contact person for the York Women's Facility.
There will be a zonal forum information session from 12 to 2 on the day of the Region, Saturday, Oct. 13th, 2001.
Eric is going to get the cost of various storage faculties and bring that info to Region.
The Area approves of the Local Service Guide the Region developed.
Need nominations for the PI and Chair position for Region.

If the person who receives this is not the person who will take this information to the meeting/Group that is named on the envelope, please let me know who that person is. These minutes are being sent to you because the Area is under the assumption that you are willing to do this task. Next Area meeting the 14th of October., 2001, at St Stephens Church, Grand Island.
The Area is from 1:00 to 3:00
