We began our meeting with a Moment of Silence followed by the Serenity Prayer. After that we read last months minutes.
The first thing we discussed was the Area bank account. Ernie H. said he could no longer be treasurer if the Area meetings were on Sunday. Rod S. volunteered to serve as Area Treasurer and we were all ok with that. Candy is going to check on what we need to do to change our signature card at the bank. Rod S., Gina F., and Gus R. will be the new signatures.

On Jan 15th Starting at Noon is the Region going-ons. It will be at the Alda Gym. The Area is planning a function for following the Meeting. It will probably be something like a potluck dinner, speaker, and a dance to follow. Some ideas on Area supplied grub was, Pizza, maybe a roast or hotdogs, maybe finger foods like roll ups. More will be revealed at the next Area Meeting. Greg, Gina, and Candy all volunteered to check on prices and availability.
Moving on, we next talked about Area servants. So far all we want is an ASR to represent us at the next Region Meeting in January. More will be revealed about that as well!
We ok'd the list on the literature. Lydia R, and Jae, (could use some more help) are going to put an order together and get the lit out. The amount agreed on was $150.
The goods on the new Area Meetings;
8:00 pm on Monday Night at the United Congregational Church of Christ on 9th and H in back. The contact number is 402-759-3693. It's a non-smoking and closed.
12:00 Midnight Friday 107 East 7th, smoking and closed.
4:00 PM Saturday Messiah Lutheran 7th and Locust, West door, down the stairs, non-smoking.
We had some general discussion about TV spots, 1-800 number, and answering machines, Gina, Gus, and Candy are check'n on this.
The next meeting will be December 12th at 107 E. 7th at 1:00pm.
