Gina went over the treasury.
Also, we are still looking for a new treasurer. PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO ASK FOR NOMINATIONS! Gina volunteered to be the temporary treasurer. Thanx again Gina!

Lin will compile the names he has on the list now and get it ready for Region. If your Group doesn't have it turned in you will need to do so this within the next week or so. Thanx for the extra service work Lin!
James talked about the Regional Center Meeting. There are some changes going on there. It was suggested that he get a hold of Gary D. from Malcom and see if he could offer James some guidence. They really need speakers every other Wed. Nite at the Regional Center. 1 yr. clean is recomended. If interested please call James at 402-462-5273. Please pass this on!
Regional meeting at Alda, Jan. 13th 2001 Hoot will do the music. The Alda Group is doing the sloppy joes. Kevin will get the buns, chips and pop. He has $80 to spend. Please ask your Groups for raffle items.

The hand stamp got lost. George H. ordered a new one.
5 T-Shirts were returned to Area. It is believed that there are at least 2 other shirts out there. We talked about a new design. Gina is going to bring a catalog next month with more options.
The Area talked about the central meeting location. There was much discusion on that topic. The Area cannot do this at this time. However, if some of the Groups would like to they could look into it

This Area has got the bid for the 2001 NA Regional Convention. We need lotsa help on this everyone. The next meeting will be at 2:00 Saturday, the 13th of January, at the Alda School (when the Region Sub-Committees meet) another meeting will be 3:15 on Sunday, the 14th of January after the Area Meeting.
Gina recieved a letter from the Hall Co. Jail wanting support, books, whatever. The Area is going to order 4 subscriptions to "Reaching out" to go to; Hall Co. Jail, HRC, HCC, and York. We are ordering 200 little white books and stamping our number in them and attaching a directory to them.
We then had much discussion about bringing a meeting to the Jail. Part of the addicts attending said we should just do it as soon as possible for the suffering addict. The other addicts said we should wait and get better orgainzed before jumping in. We talked about sign up sheets, what should be on them etc. Gina is going to contac the Jail and get more information. The Area formed a ....Sub- Committee, for lack of a better word, to meet next Area at 12:00.

Next Area meeting the 14th of Jan., 2001, at St Stephens Church, Grand Island.
The H&I Sub-Comm. will meet at 12:00
The Area is from 1:00 to 3:00
The Convention Comm. will meet from 3:15 to 5:00
